Full Description: This course is designed for those fire officers or aspiring officers that need the skills to supervise multiple companies. Generally, this level involves the management of company supervisors involved in the operational aspects of a fire station. Oriented to the level of Captain, topics covered in this course include: human resource management, group behavior, employee evaluation, communication skills, report preparation, fire investigation, administrative responsibilities, risk management, safety and emergency services delivery. Students will spend limited time in a fire command simulator during the emergency service delivery section of this course.

FOII Class Prerequisites: None
FOII Certification Prerequisites: To certify to this level, candidates must hold valid Fire Officer I and Fire Service Instructor I Certifications before ANY Fire Officer II testing (including Practical) if applicable.
