Emergency Medical Services - EMT Refresher (10 Nights) - CFA -25: Mar 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, Apr 3, 4

Full Description: The EMT NCCP (Emergency Medical Technician National Continued Competency Program) will follow the NREMT guidelines by having three categories of learning:  National, Local and Individual. The state written exam has been eliminated and students will log their continued medical education hours and classes whether nationally registered or not.  BLS Healthcare provider CPR refresher will continue to be offered (providing the CPR card has not lapsed) as part of the re-certification.
   All classes will follow a 40 hour, 2 year cycle and students will have the option of completing a traditional classroom only recertification consisting of 5, 8-hour classes or students can choose a hybrid class where 24 hours of online material will be assigned using CAPCE approved courses plus attend 16 hours of classroom time where verification of skills will be observed in addition to covering State OEMS approved topics.  If selecting the Hybrid course, students must contact CFA to get their access code one month before the class starts so online topics are completed prior to start of the in person sessions.  All of our Instructors are POST certified for people in law enforcement who require certification for their employment.  We can also tailor EMS classes to meet your department’s specific needs.
