Full Description: The Arizona Vortex - "The most versatile and state of the art high directional available to rescuers and industry today". If you're looking for a basic training class on the Arizona Vortex multi-pod and then want to expand your knowledge base of this device, our 2 day AZ Vortex class fits your needs. Day 1 covers the basics of the Arizona Vortex tripod assembly, setup, tie-back options and use with MA systems and the Harken self-tailing winch. Day 2 builds off of day 1 and progresses to the more advanced uses with the bi-pod and mono-pod configurations.

Prerequisites: Please indicate how your tuition for this class will be paid.

Mandatory – A completed & signed CFA Training Authorization form must be uploaded ASAP, you will not be enrolled without it, and you could be moved to the waitlist. Link to form: (https://shorturl.at/9ubdo)
Applicant must have one of the following certificates in order to enroll in this class. Rescue CORE, Rope Operational Training, or Rescue Technician: Rope or Confined Space Certification Or equivalent must get approval by program manager.

Resources Required: Students should print out and review the Arizona Vortex user manual prior to attending the class to have a better understanding of the concepts being taught. Students should bring a rescue type helmet, rope rescue gloves, protective eye-ware and personal hydration.
